Donations

The Co-op supports many local organizations with their fund raising efforts throughout the year.

1% Fridays

Since April 2000, we’ve earmarked 1% of our total sales on each Friday throughout the year for charitable donations. With BOD approval we choose to give to organizations that we believe are reputable, serve a need, help people, and reflect principles of the SPA Co-op and members.

If you have an organization that you would like us to consider, send information to the co-op.

SPA Co-op sponsors a local family each year as part of Operation Bootstrap’s Holiday Basket Project. We collect donations from our generous customers along with the November 1% Friday money to purchase a holiday meal and presents for the children.

Education

Did you know….. The SPA Co-op offers informative classes, discussions or tours to local groups. Whether you’re a teacher wanting your class to know about whole foods or a support group looking for better eating alternatives, we can help. Our outreach personnel are able to make an individualized program just for you.

We encourage anyone interested in having a tour or presentation of ‘all things Co-op’ or whole foods to call 341-1555 ext. 308. We look forward to hearing from you.
